Titanium caplillary tube is produce with a special drawing process and accurate granding treatment.Titanium capillary, generally refers to pure titanium capillary, TA1 - based tensile process capillary.
At present, the main processing technology of pure titanium capillary is tensile technology.That is to roll to a certain specification of the titanium pipe by stretching its pipe diameter, pipe wall reduced to the specified size of the finished pipe.It is called capillary because its cross section is shaped like a capillary.
The surface roughness of the inner and outer walls of the pure titanium capillary is smooth.The inner and outer surfaces of titanium capillary tubes produced by hot extrusion process are similar to those of cold rolled pure titanium tubes.Titanium and titanium alloy capillaries are commonly used for medical purposes.Minimum inner diameter 0.5 mm, minimum wall thickness 0.1 mm.The current tolerances for capillary processing are ±0.03 mm in diameter and ±0.02 mm in wall thickness.
Stretch process to do capillary, the most economical length is 1200 mm, the longest length can be 3 meters.
The most economical length of hot-extruded capillaries is 1000-2000 mm, with a maximum length of 6 m.The common disadvantage of capillary processing technology is that the longer the length, the lower the yield and the higher the cost.In terms of processing technology, the MOQ of capillary of drawing process is lower, while that of hot extrusion process (TC4 capillary) is higher.The main reason is that the inner capacity of the hot extrusion die cavity is required.Hot extrusion process capillary manufacturers often require a minimum order quantity of about 20-100 kg.
