Titanium Seamless Forged Ring
Titanium seamless forged ring process starts with a pre-cut billet being heated to a desired temperature. It’s then hammered or upset on a press. Then the center is pierced to form the hollow center, similar to a doughnut. The part is then rolled or if necessary reheated to bring it up to the forging temperature, before being placed on the ring mill.
